Hi,

I needed the attached patch to have coda-5.3.1 compile with egcs-1.1.2.

Another question: Is it a good idea to use /usr/coda/spool and /usr/coda/venus.cache? On most intelligent installations, /usr is ro! (For the SuSE packages, I solved this by symlinks to /var/coda/...)
