I am not quite sure what filled up partition.  I only have about 24
megabytes free on /, and I think the coda installer put /rvm there.  I
don't know how long it has been full...  I think this has been one of
my stumbling blocks for some time.

I have allocated a separate partition for /rvm, but I haven't started
using it because I don't yet know how.  I asked a few months ago, and
the recommendation was that I should delay using a partition, and go
with the standard file.   Sometime I may try using a partition instead
of the files.
