*grumble*  methinks I've run into an interesting case of gnu-make and
bsd-make not refering to the same target name as 'make coda' did not work
correctly the first time.

A completely fresh install of the coda source with gmake coda appears to
work (currently on vaca^H^H^H^Hconference so not testing it)
