We are in a rush this week with a big demo so this has to be short.  But
Shafeeq is right. Just get someone to write the assembly code for PPC.
After that btw, you should be able to compile the rest really easily.

You can probably get this code out of the ARLA projects port of LWP. 

Forget about using pre-emptive threads.  Coda won't work with them
currently - you'd have to emulate lwp threads.
