Coda File System

uh-oh!

In the draft Linux 2.2 press release at
<URL:http://www.tip.net.au/~edlang/linux/Linux-2.2.DRAFT6.txt>, I see
this bullet:
* Enterprise-level network filesystem support, complete with data
replication for performance, mobility, and reliability.

I wonder what they're talking about? I hope it's not Coda, because
Coda won't be "enterprise-level" this month, anyway. And arla is just
a client, right?

And I'm fairly certain they're not talking about the RAID-over-nbd hack
Peter Breuer recently described here.

Computers are the tools of the devil. It is as simple as that. There is no
monotheism strong enough that it cannot be shaken by Unix or any Microsoft
product. The devil is real. He lives inside C programs. -- philg_at_mit.edu
