Coda client won't start (RH 6.2)

Hi,

After running 'venus -init' the process is killed:

What does 'error -6' mean? Where can I find the meaning of Coda error
numbers and what could be the problem here?

According to 'cmon' testserver.coda.cs.cmu.edu is up.
According to lsmod the coda module is loaded.
