Hello,

I successfully installed Coda (5.3.8-1) on a linux/debian machine
running a 2.2.15 kernel.

Everything seems well running but I never could clog and therefore
do anything with Coda !

When I try to clog, a few seconds after having enterred the password
i get the following message :
Invalid login (RPC2_NOBINDING (F)).
while on the SCM or not.

According to previous messages on this mailing list i tried
clog -host <almost everything i could imagine>
with no success.

When starting venus just complain about :
Kernel version ioctl failed.
but starts.
/vice/srv/SrvLog reports the new host being connected.
/coda is mounted and i can acces the /coda directory and run
some command such as cfs listacl /coda.

auth2, rpc2portmap, updatesrv & clnt are running without complaining.
I just noticed that /vice/misc/portmaplog remains 0 byte length.

help welcome !
