Coda File System

Coda Server Processes question...

Date: Thu, 18 Dec 2003 12:03:57 +0100
Hi!

Ivan Popov explain to us in a previous mail that we need 3 processes of
the codaserver working in the same machine.

For it we have created 2 new partitions (/vicepb;/vicepc) formated in
ext2 and its respective ones raw partition "RVMDATAX" and "RVMLOGX"
(initiated with the commands "rvmutl" and "rvmutl").

Once modified the file /etc/coda/server.conf to indicate the new
configuration, the server doesn't start correctly.

Our configuration is like that:

# Number of server processes running on this machine.
#
#numservers=1
numservers="3"

# For multiple servers: Define the above 4 in a file: server_X.conf
# for a server which is started with the parameter "-n X" or define the
# following replacing X with the server number.
#
rvm_log_1="/dev/vgdata/rvmlog1"
rvm_data_1="/dev/vgdata/rvmdata1"
rvm_data_length_1="94371840"
#hostname_1="scm"
rvm_log_2="/dev/vgdata/rvmlog2"
rvm_data_2="/dev/vgdata/rvmdata2"
rvm_data_length_2="136314880"
#hostname_2="scm"
rvm_log_3="/dev/vgdata/rvmlog3"
rvm_data_3="/dev/vgdata/rvmdata3"
rvm_data_length_3="136314880"
#hostname_3="scm"

Can anybody explian us how to make it?

Thank you!
