at some point, i will probably need to move /vicepa to a different disk,
probably one that is larger and newer.

is it safe to simply tar up the directory and untar it to the new
filesystem? or does codasrv care that all the inode numbers will have
changed? (or are there any other gotchas i might have missed.)
