Coda File System

Creating replicated volume on non-scm servers only

Hi All,

I have been working Coda for one of my project.

I am using Redhat 9.0 i386 systems with Coda 5.3.20. I know it is a very old and
obsolete version of coda, but I am using it to prepare a rudimentary system for demo
purpose.

I have 5 machines, of which 4 are running coda server and 1 running coda client.

server1 scm
server2 non-scm
rserver1 non-scm
rserver2 non-scm

Now the thing is I have to create 2 replicated volumes

Vol1 between server1 and rserver1
Vol2 between server2 and rserver2

I have been able to create the replicated volume Vol1 successfully using createvol_rep.

But the problem is I don't know how to create a replicated volume Vol2 among 2 servers
both of which are non-scm.

I looked into the complete mailing list but was unable to find the solution.

I would be very nice if someone can give me pointers or steps on how to create
replicated volume among non-scm servers only.

regards,
Dhiraj Chawla
